Yes, the beaches are lovely, the night life, food and shopping are great, but enjoy the museums, the countryside and the wineries and the Greek Culture. The main town “Chora” is a mixture of colourful, streets meandering through the town. You will get lost, but that is all part of the journey. You will enjoy exploring the town as you head towards the main attraction which has to be the iconic windmills of Mykonos and “Little Venice”. Most of them were built by the Venetians in the 16th century to mill wheat.  Along with museums, there is also the Island of Delos, just off the coast of Mykonos and considered to be the birthplace of the God Apollo and his twin sister Artemis. Now a major archaeological site it can be accessed by ferry.
Like Santorini, it can be very busy, but with improved port and bus facilities, it is much easier to navigate.
